One founder spent decades understanding where healthcare loses continuity. The other has built frontier AI infrastructure and products at scale.
More than two decades across geriatric rehabilitation, eHealth, telemedicine, home care strategy and clinical research. Founded COVIDRehab and CommunitySOS, advised largest home care agency in Canada, led the 2014 UK DementiaHack Grand Challenge-winning team, and turned years coordinating other's and his father's complex medical care into the insight behind CareUmbrella.
Built distributed inference and GPU orchestration for generative-video systems, helped build and scale DoctorGPT to more than 500,000 users, contributed models and datasets to Hugging Face, helped run an early CPU mixture-of-experts model, published work on on-device medical AI, and won NVIDIA Spark Toronto and NASA Space Apps Ontario hackathons.
